NURSING
Nursing allows you to care for yourself and others. Treat wounds, prepare medication, perform surgeries, cook food, farm ingredients, and become a skilled homemaker. The nurse is more capable of supporting growth and healing than any other character.
SKILLS
1. Homemaker
Prerequisites: nursing level 1
A nurse is able to prepare proper sleeping arrangements. When preparing camp or tending to a house for the day, a nurse can grant everyone a morale boost with a DC of 7 or higher.

You can tailor, repair, and even create clothing (with a full day’s work) using up to 5 bundles of fabric and a sewing kit. The DC of this roll is 7.
2. Harvest
Prerequisites: nursing level 1
A nurse is able to harvest materials from organic nodes with much greater success. The harvesting DC decreases from 7 to 4. The nurse is also able to determine whether or not the materials are safe for consumption.
3. Diagnosis
Prerequisites: nursing level 1
A nurse is able to diagnose diseases, illnesses, and other maladies if they spend time with a subject. If this is used in combat, this will reveal any status effects currently affecting a target as well. The DC for this roll is 4.
4. (Trans)plant
Prerequisites: Harvest
The nurse is able to sow and move harvestable organic nodes. Use a shovel on a plant or a treat on an animal. The DC for this roll is 6.
5. Treatment
Prerequisites: Diagnosis and Harvest
You are able to treat basic wounds and injuries with medical supplies. After treatment, the wound or injury will begin its recovery period. The DC for this roll is 5. If failed, the supplies are consumed anyways but the roll can be reattempted.
6. Cook
Prerequisites: Homemaker and Harvest
You are able to prepare various simple meals with the right ingredients. Meals tend to provide multiple small boons. The DC for these recipes is 4.

7. Confection
Prerequisites: Homemaker and Harvest
You are able to prepare various simple desserts with the right ingredients. Desserts tend to improve morale and provide small boons. The DC for these recipes is 4.

You are able to prepare various simple drinks with the right ingredients. Drinks tend to grant both positive and negative effects. The DC for these recipes is 4.

9. Stabilize
Prerequisites: nursing level 5 and treatment
The nurse is able to stabilize a target when it is in critical condition using various medical supplies. The DC for this roll is 7. If the roll is failed, the supplies are consumed but the roll can be reattempted later.

The nurse becomes more efficient at stabilizing their target. The DC of the roll decreases to 5.
10. Toxins
Prerequisites: treatment
You are able to prepare various simple toxins with the right ingredients. Toxins tend to inflict harm when imbibed. The DC for these recipes is 4.

11. Curatives
Prerequisites: treatment
You are able to prepare various simple curatives with the right ingredients. Curatives tend to prevent or cure harmful conditions. The DC for these recipes is 4.

12. Psychoactives
Prerequisites: treatment
You are able to prepare various simple psychoactive drugs with the right ingredients. Psychoactives tend to alter your state of perception and have unpredictable effects. The DC for these recipes is 4.

13. Chef
Prerequisites: nursing level 10 and cook, mix,or confection.
A chef is able to double the effects of any known recipes. When preparing a dish, a chef can choose to double the effectiveness of the dish by increasing the DC of the roll by 2.
14. Surgeon
Prerequisites: nursing level 10 and stabilize.
A surgeon is able to perform a number of surgeries on compliant targets. The requirements and DC vary depending on the chosen surgery. This also allows the user to recall revenants.
15. Apothecary
Prerequisites: nursing level 10 and toxins, curatives, or psychoactives.
An apothecary is able to synthesize the effects of two concoctions. After the two are prepared, they can be combined with a roll of the dice. The DC for this roll is 6.
